try Raze with palette emulation on (options/display/render settings) without palette emulation the colors look dull and the textures look flat as the palette make light effect look like the textures have a bit of relief to them. Blood is supposed to jhave redish tones in the darker shades.
add the video files in a "movie" folder in the main game folder because the game has some cutscenes.
the original CD music can be used. named as in picrel in the main folder.
i use flac but ogg is fine enough. otherwise the MIDI soundtrack is arguably as good overall.
