How's this for particles? Still workin on em a bit. As for hitscans, I'm avoiding them because they feel less arcane and more "gun" to me. Magic generally isnt depicted as traveling faster than can be seen, so the only way a hitscanner would work is if it were something that originated from inside the enemy (like some voodoo doll kinda shit.) A lot of the projectiles have had their speeds readdressed though.
