Gave up on modern PC gaming when everything became a locked down service or DRM bound, online authentication bullshit. But then again, by that point all of the worthwhile PC exclusive genres like RTS were already dieing out, so while sad to see my favorite childhood platform rot away, it never felt like i was missing that much by that point.

I won't touch anything Microsoft starting with the Bone. Not buying hardware i need to fucking register online before i can even use it. Likewise, i may be done with Sony too now if they keep going with this "register your disc drive online" bullshit. Nintendo is pretty much the only source left I will have for a traditional games machine, with no subscription, online activation cancer required, just plop a game in and play design. Hoping their toy company roots maintains that, but if not, well guess im just done keeping up with modern gaming.
