I went to the item shop, it was so silly how that worked.

I actually forgot about the Vegeta card until after Vegeta joined my team.
And after that it went away.
I wasn't even trying to grind at that point anymore.
The normal encounter rate made me hit the level cap.
Which is apparently 48 for Gohan and friends, 47 for Vegeta and Piccolo.
