Alright /CRT/, I have acquired a PC, an HD4670 with an svideo port, a trinitron with svideo, and an svideo cable. What's stopping me from outputting 240p in retroarch to my CRT? All options are interlaced. Do I need some kind of converter box? I'd like to skip that but will get one if I have to. Seems retarded that consoles do 240p over svideo just fine but a PC acts like that resolution doesn't exist. I just want 240p to come out of one of the holes in the back of this old gpu. What's the move here?

>Why does anyone over the age of 18 magically forget that most of the internet is under 18?
Is it... is it because the ones who forget aren't over 18 either?

This reminds me, whilst taking my niece in for her annual teeth cleaning, I spotted a child-proof gaming PC kiosk setup in the waiting lobby. Everything was bolted to the desk and the screen was running Steam in big picture mode.

What happens if you try to use the optimization techniques and make a game like if you were coding a 1992 PC but obviously made on modern machines?

Like using the PSX graphics RE engine, ported it to modern GPU and try to make like a top tier quality game still using the PSX RE techniques but without the psx limitations?

I'm trying to decompile kof 2002 (from neogeo), and so far I've gotten the fightcade rom, which gives me son BIN files.

I've taken these BIN files into a decompiler and gotten the ASM of the game.
I'll try to learn the most of neogeo ASM (which I believe is 6800).

But I need some help.
Looking at the BIN files using a hex editor, I need like to understand what's the assets file signatures.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_file_signatures

I was looking at this, but I am unsure which would be the file signature SNK would have used in kof 2002.

So I would love if any anon here has any info into what tools do the SNK employees had.

Why does the OoT on zelda collector's edition gamecube run like a charm, while the VC version is scuffed 15fps? It's running on the same console? And ffs, you can run HD texture pack n64 games on any 20 year old pc.

I'm getting a 128GB SD card on Friday and I'm going to hack my New 3DS. Is there a good link anywhere to download every SNES game ever made in one single download?
