On that note, I just reminded myself than Gen II Kanto and Johto are two halves of a full region---not even two whole regions.

Complaining about not having "two regions" is stupid when the time they did do that, both of them had to be largely empty and content-less in order to accommodate the thought. Personally, I'd rather have the one if I get to have shit in it.
