i leave for a WHOLE 24 hours and this thread's suddenly lethal lava land.

u-uhh.. heh.. i think kirby wears shoes over his feet to protect him from rough terrain, but the dense feet thing makes an awful lot of sense..
what i wonder is how he manages to hold stuff in his mouth without it getting sucked into a black hole of nothingness. how does he swallow anything with no visible throat? i'd assume he has like some kinda expansive windpipe that leads into a vortex, and he keeps it contracted when not inhaling/holding something in his mouth.

wait actually scratch all that he probably just holds stuff
with his tounge..
