I'm the guy concerned with the textures.
So I got it working and I've told my map that it's in Doom 2 format but I'm figuring the builder and the sourceport are just compensating for the loss by not showing what it WOULD show if I ran this wad under chocolate doom or something?

Would it not open and show an error, display a corrupted texture? A missing one?

Would I need to tell it to *replace* other textures and then add my own animdefs?

I was feeling all chuffed for thinking I figured it out.
