The stats didn't do shit except look pretty on the ui but there was still the level up system which gave a range or +hp and +mana depending on your class, like the Paladin got more hp than the Necro but in turn got less mana, as well as the passive skills you acquired at levels 3 and 6, which I liked even if most of them were inconsequential.
