The game supported a shit-ton of early 3D graphics cards, and it was damn good lookin' back in its day (especially compared to other Japanese PC titles). A-Train 5 lets you use this 3D view to look at your city, but the planning stage itself is all top-down 2D stuff, made to be much less exciting but more practical to build railways with.
