That's why I said it could sort of be self censorship because they are all games being released under the Nintendo name which wants to maintain a certain standard. And to be clear, I'm not saying a more faithful translation wouldn't have been better. I'm saying Nintendo was smart putting those rules in place knowing the market they were going into. Yeah a kid's game where you murder God might go unnoticed, but if it doesn't and the uppity Christian church lady brigade gets wind of it they could be into a world of shit. Christians aren't known for grasping subtlety after all.

That said though it is kind of entertaining that they let FF Legend slip by with it's Creator of that universe being a dick bag that you can chainsaw in half.

I noticed Romancing SaGas 2 and 3 are on sale and have been curious to try one of the main line games for a while. FF Legend was my first ever RPG and I loved Frontier 2, so I'm not worried about difficulty either way but am curious which you guys think is better.

Although I don't normally like Dragon Quest, that one is decent. I enjoy both SaGa 1 and 2 far more though.
