Well that's like your opinion man, I consider making maps for oldschool FPS 'more' artistic than a lot of things that 'some people do and call themselves artists for' (I know this is a very vague definition...)

The problem is that nowadays we can't use the word 'artist' anymore without people thinking we're overpretentious. The origin of the word art comes from craftsmanship, building things with your tools, and when I make a map I'm building a virtual environment with the tools given to me. Sounds pretty close to the origins of the word to me.

Anyway back to main topic, I just finished playing Back To Saturn X - Episode and I'm currently playing Community Chest 4 (which is good but imo not as good as Saturn X), pic related, wasting shots to kill an Archville through the hole between the door and the wall.
Can anybody recommend me a rather high quality recent wad (preferably with lots of maps) ?
