/vr/ - Retro Games

I recognize all it's shortcomings but none the less it's charm still wins me over.

Quest 64 is one of those games that engrossed me like few others ever did, even then when I knew how light it was on rpg elements and grind heavy it was it struck a chord with me.
Later I learned that it was basically rushed out with many elements of the game cut out just so it could beat Zelda to the market.
It makes me wonder how good it could have been if the publisher had more faith in the game and gave it the time it needed.
