I actually quite liked it. Despite minor gripes which you would have with every WAD I found it quite nice in a broad sense.

That said most of the criticism I got I'd still say is genuine, I'd consider Vader and Essel's opinions worth listening to for the most part and I think the latter working on TSOZD will be a plus; especially since he could rein in some of Torms habits.
I like Torm but he really does get carried away at times.

How do you guys personally set up your monsters and items according to difficulty?

Do you start placing monsters for hard difficulty and work your way down? Do you start placing monsters for easy difficulty and work your way up? How big is the difference between your difficulties?

I never would have imagined it would be possible to take modern FPS features (such as Halo-style regenerating armor) and seamlessly fit them into a balls-to-the-wall 90's FPS; successfully proving that these features can easily produce a fun-yet-challenging experience, and that today's developers have absolutely no excuse for nerfing gameplay just to allow said features in the game.
