Jesus tap dancing christ. I played Ages hard back in 2002 and never touched it since finishing it and I had forgotten the layouts of the dungeons and puzzles and jesus fucking christ what the fuck. I have not been this god damn stumped since the Ice Dungeon in ALttP.

God fuck I never played Seasons because I got so burnt out on Zelda because of Ages.

And fuck that "rhythm" goron part.

Dear Jabu Jabu's Belly from Oracle of Ages.

Why the fuck would they give the longest goddamn stage in the game the shortest and most repetitive Musical Loop? Even if you know exactly where to go in the level, it takes so long to dive between areas that the music eventually drives you batballs crazy. And that's if you know where you're going.

But no. All of the sudden you're the FIRST AND ONLY level to use the multi tiered swimming system, and it took me for goddamn ever to figure that out. All the while, that same, repetitive 25 second loop. I swear I get mild PTSD listening to it.

Worst part of Oracle of Ages? Because I'm finding it hard to find a worse part of the game. The trading sequence on the island wasn't as bad as I recall, but this one and the Mermaid Cave are just so boring and awful that it's making me hate replaying this game.

This dungeon. This fucking dungeon. This fucking dungeon can eat a dick.

I don't think I've ever been so frustrated with any other dungeon in the Zelda series. The Water Temple from Ocarina of Time may be the more famous one, but it's got nothing on Jabu Jabu from Oracle of Ages.
