I remember being hyped for SNK's take on their main system of the agreement with Capcom. The roster is so interesting to me with its uncommon picks. SNK style games don't tend to go over well in the USA. Friends convinced an arcade operator to bring in SVC Chaos because it was the next biggest thing and should bring in the revenue, but they got quickly disappointed and returned to CVS2. I guess I stuck enjoying SVC just to not feel so bad for the arcade operator, but I like both styles of games. Despite the main fighting game fans of the USA preferring Capcom's style of play more finding a lot of "broken" mechanics like the Maximum gauge or perhaps some inconsistent hitboxes, I still thought it was a fun amusing game at the casual level. The brokenness of the game just made for more interesting combo videos that people outside of the US created in those days. A great time of J-pop/rock, Nu-metal, and The Matrix fueled our exploration of video transitions and system exploitation in making something interesting to show off to the rest of the web: https://youtu.be/3xgzDWnwswE

What? I mained charge characters in prior Capcom fighting games. I would choose Cammy, Maki, or Sakura as those are the attractive characters, but Sagat/Blanka/Dictator fit my style/personality best. They just found me and fit what I do and how I am.

It is the disc coupled with the purchase of CVS2 on Dreamcast. It's the Capcom Battle Fan Disc, which includes savegames to upload to your VMU for every Capcom fighting game on the Dreamcast (Power Stone, the For Matching Service releases & regular releases, Kikaioh, Project Justice, etc.) and videos of matches between some good players. The disc was essentially a "goodbye Dreamcast" from Capcom since the system was being discontinued by the time CVS2 was released.

I am primarily a C-groove player, but A-groove seems so much fun if my execution was better. I'd love to continually chop people to death with Dictator. Anyway, I am very impressed with how on point this Dictator player's anti airs are: https://youtu.be/xZKhThHhi9c
