I don't mind shelling out since I'm going to be taking this seriously, the only thing I can't really do is go to actual classes which would probably be the most useful thing for me, as in actually have someone fluent in the language to talk with and help me etc etc.

Also, finding it hilarious that Goemon, of all games is the one spurring all this conversation given how comical it is. GGA is one of my favourite games of all time though.
