I've been lagging behind on my own schedule, but I've been hung up on getting this particular upgrade right for Kustam. Originally it was an additional projectile you fired with the hitscan (I forgot to update the pickup text), but that turned out to be annoying because you'd hitscan a weak monster and the projectile would most likely whiff the others. So you'd have to often shoot the floor to get the most of it. That's stupid.

So now it's a hitscan. And it only triggers if you shoot an actor, which means you can get away with shooting barrels and triggering the flashbang effect, but that's still technically a harder target to shoot than the fucking floor.
I'm hoping the little HUD element isn't too imposing, screen space is fucking tight. You can also see the heat system recharging the flashbang and the medi-tool a little here as well. I was going to make it so you have to recharge the super kick this way as well but I'm not certain if that'd be wise in the long run, seeing as it takes a moment to charge the kick anyway.

Also, seeing as the medi-tool takes longer to recharge and requires you to hit some dudes to start building it up, I'm gonna boost its healing and ammo gaining properties. I've been considering adjusting heat gain in general too.
