3 questions fundamental to this thread...

1) Is this issue firmly parallel for Hexen-II (and for all expansions for both of these), making it more natural to tie the two games together when looking at such a question (since the H2 source code has now been released. Aside from the difference that H2 wasn't released for DOS)

2) Is it accurate to say that quake would be within but at the limit of what a raspberry pi can handle, particularly among officially-retro games, and what other such devices are similar in this regard?

3) Does this play well with a wiimote, or other alternative controller(except of course a trackball) making that another factor in such a choice?

I don't find this to be a valid complaint when N64 soundtracks had this bizarre tendency to be much better anyway. The Vigilante 8 games especially. Did Nintendo have some sort of policy forcing developers to enhance/arrange their soundtracks for N64 ports or something? Because I can think of so many good examples of this.
