That makes sense if I a game was originally only available on an old console.
With remasters and modern ports now players can enjoy the classics.
Doom on the other hand is easily available on PC so it's a different story.

Again,I rather download a ROM of Goldeneye 64 with free mouselook and smoother framerate rather than buying an N64 and the game for an outrageous price

Many said that the fall started with that game but it was a success and spawned a gigantic modding community.
Fallout 4 is a bad Fallout game but not a bad shooter,people can actually improve it.
Fallout 76 is just awful all around and not worth bothering other than fixing some stuff.

While it's true,Obsidian is not the one it used to be.
Making a video about the first two games would be nice,because of the amount of choices and the spectacular writing.
I don't think any other game after those managed to capture the isolated,mysterious and depressing atmosphere.
