/vr/ - Retro Games

So the last thread has reminded me that Arthurian Legends have been out of a while and I somehow missed it. So I picked it up with a five finger discount.
What the fuck is this engine even.
Can't rebind controls from game, have to quit, rebind it in pre-launch window. Same for resolution.
Need to install some shady redist that needs my PC rebooted or else it just wont work.
Jank movement physics. Tries to emulater Build, but feels even jankier than Witchaven somehow.

Performance is absolute trash. I have i7 with 1080 ti. It plays Cyberpunk 2077 on high at 55-70. It plays all modern games at 60+.
This turd give me 45-50 fps on average, 35-40 in a fight.

Cherry on top: horrendous view distance, worse than on most PS1 games. Thats on maximum setting.I am not kidding. Bumping the fog distance in config does nothing - it just resets back.
