>went to play ALTTP a few months ago
>won't let me erase any old files
>had a free slot so whatever, start there
>doesn't let me enter any name, every character is recognized as "A"
>hitting END just returns to file select no matter what button is pressed
>online see some people saying cart is maybe fried, so I buy a different copy
>same issue, feels too unlikely that both carts are fucked
>check Super Mario World out and same issue
>can't erase any of the files, same as Zelda
>meanwhile I can't get it to start any other game
I can't find anything else about this on the web, outside of people asking and not getting answers. So what the hell is going on? This has to be a system issue and not a cartridge one, right?
