Who was the greatest Apple II dev of all time? It's a toss up between Danielle Bunten (creator of M.U.L.E.) and 'Burger' Becky Heinemann.

The first well known tranny game dev, Dan Bunten (Danielle Bunten) regretted getting sexual reassignment surgery (which was done in the mid 90s, I can only imagine what that was like) and later said he could've lived a female identity with his dick and balls in tact just fine and should have reconsidered. He died not long after of cancer.

Also related sidenote, Rebecca Heineman actually credited John Romero for being able to see Bunten for the last time, only months before he did. Romero hosted a huge party/get together for old Apple II programmers at Ion Storms Dallas offices where he flew them all there and everything. Heineman and Bunten were two he flew out. Heineman was still Burger Bill then but said seeing him is one of the things that helped him finally decide to transition too.
