What these guys do is compile information and distribute it in ways that are easy to digest (wiki articles, succinct newspieces, step-by-step "how to" guides, videos that explain concepts or compare different products with lots of examples).
That's a valuable service. Yeah some of them are "ugly", but their work is more important than other ecelebs that are just a prettier face which passively reacts to things.
