I've been trying to figure out what the different Multipaint buttons do, it's pretty interesting.

A difference from modern programs is that the Undo command works a little differently. The primary Undo commands are in the toolbar that looks like pic-related, which comes up when you click the Scissor in the main toolbar. The top right button (that looks like a U-curving arrow) is like an Undo button. BUT it doesn't just undo the last thing you did. Instead it restores to a previously saved point, which you can set with the button to the left of Undo (the button that looks like a downward pointing arrow ⤓).

So you save a marker or snapshot or what to call it, with the down-arrow button. And then do the changes you want to do and click the down-arrow button again to save a new snapshot when you're happy with the changes. And if you're not happy with them you click the Undo button and go back to the previously saved snapshot.

Also worth noting is that when you click Undo it saves the image that you're undo-ing as the new snapshot. If you repeatedly click the Undo button it swaps back and forth between the new changes and the old picture. So it's more like a "Swap Snapshot"-button. So it requires a bit more planning compared to modern tools.
