The system sellers for me were Dead or Alive 3 and Jet Set Radio Future. The system rewarded me with more DOA games with the volleyball and a great remaster. Sega continued some great support, given how much I loved the Saturn and Dreamcast the Xbox was a great system that hosted those kinds of games I liked. Multiplats tend to perform better on the system too. Ninja Gaiden got a big push on the system too, since I loved the NES games it was a return I am glad happened.

That's one issue with a digital marketplace: a lone entity can dictate the discounts and possibly ignore some sectors because of the lack of competition. Gun Valkyrie was a Dreamcast game at one point; it's obtuse stick clicking movement does make it a very interesting play for me. I possess an uncommon taste that enjoys the kinds of games Sega makes, but games like Gun Valkyrie and the rest of their offerings on Xbox pretty much elevates the platform for me.

I played through most of JSRF and Burnout 3 on the 360 and only experienced the flickering map on JSRF. I am glad that Xbox has such a strong commitment to backwards compatibility which helps preserve games for new younger generations to enjoy if they choose. I remember if the first 5 minutes work it is considered backwards compatible for the 360, but in games like Silent Hill 2 I started to notice some texture flickering which was not there but I believe there is a native 360 port of that game. There used to be a list of confirmed working games, but the Xbox focus is now on the modern series devices which I have been unable to test since they are currently too expensive.

It is hardware that was very powerful at the time which allows for games to maximize their imagination with great fidelity. It is great that the games are future compatible. While my taste in games differs from many others, I like the Dead or Alive games on the system. Blackstone looks great but I have not tried it yet.

The system sellers for me were JSRF which is Sega and Dead or Alive 3 which was Tecmo. Since Ultimate was already mentioned, I'll go with Capcom Vs. SNK 2EO.

I think the Sega games are really cool. Tell me about Vexx, I missed out on it.

Probably good business plans and people that cared about games. To the end user, it was just all the compelling games made for it that are appealing. The foresight that brings videogames forward.

It's also kind of dense too.
