Soul Star, for the sheer technical wizardry. It makes by far the best use of the additional chips in the Sega CD

I always assumed these levels in Soul Star were simply done using a mirrored Mode 7 style plane. But then I ran into a wall. How are the walls rendered? I don't remember any Mode 7 SNES games with 3D walls in them.
