For me, it's the mirage palace (seiken densetsu 3/trials of mana)
always loved that place
hidden in the middle of a thick, dangerous jungle far away from civilisation,
invisible to the naked eye, needs a special item to even be seen
the calm music contrasting with all the high powered enemies, blood and bones around you
it really gives you the feeling you're stepping on some cursed ground that not many humans have been before
