So, for those of you who play doom with enhancement mods that don't mess with the gameplay, what do you use?

I use the lights and enemy brightmaps packaged with GZDoom.
D1-pcmus.wad, which was on a doom page linked to in one of the older threads, and is the Doom OST CD replacing built in doom music, resulting in higher quality original background music.
pk-doom-sfx-20100109.wad, from the doomsday source port site, which is higher quality versions of the original sound effects (and probably overridden by the sfx changes in DEFinal.pk3)
DEFinal.pk3 is a collection of enhancements that don't effect gameplay, like brightmaps for assorted wall textures, smoother weapon animations, ejected cartridges from weapons, among a bunch of other shit. The mod also shifts around some base game sound effects, so enemies have a more consistent and unique sound. I like the sound effect changes, but there's a version without that available too.
doom-freelanzerhddoom-blahblahblahetc.wad is a custom version I modified of the doomsday source port forum's HD texture project, which is the best quality and most faithful to original HD texture pack I've found. The pack is incomplete, has no brightmaps, and fucks up the nice brightmaps in DEFinal.wad, so I deleted any HD textures from it that had corresponding brightmaps in DEFinal.wad. Most of the HD textures look decent even next to the low res originals.
