I have played with a lot of controllers. Dozens, over a hundred probably. I have owned controllers for pretty much ever major system.

I have owned all the common controllers for the Sega Saturn.

And they are just okay.

That's it. Just pretty good. I don't know why people are so obsessed with them. They are by far NOT the best controller for playing fighting games. Merely the best controller on Saturn for that purpose. For every other genre they're pretty much just about as good as 100 other controllers that are decently built.

To be really brutally honest, I think they're a little bit stiff in the d-pad. :^)
