I've played far too much destruction 1, 2 and raw over the years. I've got a soft spot for 2 due to its thrash OST (Jug never did anything else and iirc Tuscan are even more obscure) but the a.i cheats like a motherfucker. Wreckfest is almost the true sequel to it but clearly draws upon its flatout roots which is inspired by both destruction derby 1 and 2 the actual finnish folk racing scene. DD1 is basically UK banger racing with a thumping soundtrack whereas 2 was explicitly designed to be more american.
