>Every mission is luck-based
Dungeon layout is fixed, treasures are a luxury, not a necessity.
Panels you get is dependent on your actions, like other SaGa games.
There's no more luck involved in encounters than your average DQ clone.
The only egregious part is getting mimic to drop magic tablets, most people savescum those.
Using Tetra Force or copying the System Data along with the quicksave to another MC/using ulaunchelf
>time limits
Yeah, about that...Here's the thing: Main quest mission don't have one, so if there's a time limit you're kinda doing grinding on the side which is a bad thing to do until you get a full party. You're probably better off waiting until you get the final Main mission until getting them done. Of course, the game has no conveyance of that whatsoever so I wouldn't expect everyone to catch on to that.
Most mission have some trial-and-error bullshit you're supposed to glean around from experience, they're more of a long-term investment.
Here's a quick breakdown:
>Quest Adventure
Gather some Herb, just do that one, ignore the rest.
>Monster Extermination Adventure
This is what you do when you want high level panel, Level is dependent on the number of monster killed since last panel distribution.
It doesn't reset with Time out (I think) so don't feel too bad about that.
>Boss Adventure
Rush to the end and attempt some spark.
An easy way to fill panels if some new recruits are lagging behind.

Good luck!
