Get a Raspberry Pi 2 and load it with retro pi. I'm playing everything up to ps1 and N64 with little to no problems. Only game to give me any issues so far was Ocarina of Time on N64. The mupen64 emulator is working on a fix for that I believe. I'm using 2 old wireless xbox 360 controllers and the bufalo snes gamepad with no issues. Being able to access everything from the early atari/mac/etc games up to ps1 is nice. They are super cheap to build.
