Confirmed WHERE? The only reason they're considered non-canon to begin with is because they're adaptations, which almost always takes a backseat to source material; ORIGINAL stories, like the Majora backstory and especially the Skyward Sword prequel INCLUDED in Hyrule Historia, could conceivably be canonical.

I mean, you are probably right objectively since Generation I has more holes than an early Nasir-programmed Square game, but I dislike the Generation III engine/style. It never sat right with me that the remakes are just hacks of the new generation, making the series even more same-y and uniform that it already is.
