I love the Saturn, I'm just sick of its apologists constantly claiming dithered transparencies looked fine or in anyway comparable to real transparency over composite, they look just awful.

no. you can see the flickering that it produces on a CRT via composite. if you pause the webm, you can see the harsh color issues
