People who say it was nothing like Doom 1 or 2 are retards, it was a LOT like the previous games before the zoomers and tumor-boomers began popularizing Doom as some "ULTRA FAST 150 MPH KILLFEST" when it was originally locked at 30 FPS and played by the overwhelming majority of players with keyboard controls only, while mouse was optional, and was considered to be a lot slower paced and horror driven than many other games of the time, in fact if not one of the scariest games ever released up to that point.

People who point to the multiplayer community are missing the point since DOOM sold on its singleplayer. Saying it was meant to be ultra-fast are the same stupid faggots that thought bunnyhopping was intended in Quake 1, of which Carmack himself felt bunnyhopping went against the designed intent of the game itself, much like wall-strafing in Doom 1.

I'm not sure, I haven't played BD in a long, long time, and I know the mod is held together with duct tape and chewing gum, so it's hard to say if those older versions will play nice with newer versions of GZdoom.

Asking politely does not mean your request will be followed, especially if the request is "please stop posting images on an imageboard".
