I remember getting Puyo Puyo and Hit The Block at 7-Eleven. Black & White at a Safeway. Games were everywhere, and it was nice.

It could be AI generated.

That was my time with PC gaming. Just anything VGA was what got me interested. While the ports may not have been great, they were inexpensive, but the real stars were the exclusives. The exclusives were experiences which really took advantage of the platform.

This is the first time I ever hear anyone ever mention the Ultra2000 version. I had figured everyone wanted the SourceNext or Rendition Verite version. Got it from a 7-Eleven, and that's pretty cool it has a patch for modern usage. Since I only go so far as Win7 would that patch still work or is 10/11 what was really meant by modern?

Back then, 7-Eleven had some surprisingly good games ones they were old. Fry's was amazing too.

I am not sure which is the right version. I have the one from the discount 7-eleven rack. I know the Japanese versions have the uncensored extended colorized intro and head falling from the first zombie Jill encounters. However, isn't the US versions have added challenge and uncensored game over screens? Is there some mod to combine all the best elements? AI upscale the old prerenders?

While not that cheap, Puyo Puyo 2 on Windows 95 was a great 2000 JPY find at a 7-Eleven back then which started my Puyo joy.

I think the DOS and Windows games from China/Taiwan and Korea has information regarding them more difficult to come by. I stumble onto some old PC games from those regions and find them fascinating and wish to download them to play.

>>5377787
For Korean Windows, I am only familiar with the Softmax games like War of Genesis 1-3b, Tempest, Magnacarta, etc. After WinMX. Underground Gamer, and Bit-Gamer went away,I have nowhere lease I can get the cool stuff from anymore.

Just 2000 JPY at 7-11 says otherwise. Green blood tho.

Me too.
