Easier said than done. I've brought this up before but any sane individual with programming knowledge and skill that takes a look at ZDoom/GZDoom bails immediately because that shit's a horrifying spaghetti clusterfuck under the hood.
I think the only way it's going to get unfucked is if they start over and wipe the slate clean, which will likely destroy legacy support for decades of work. This is a real shitty catch-22 situation and I don't think anything can really be done without pissing off a lot of people.

Shit sucks.

Starts out really cool, but shits the bed by the third or fourth dungeon. There's a room in a volcano dungeon that has the rocks randomly shuffled around, forcing you to leave and re-enter the room multiple times to generate the right path you can get through, and it's either the final dungeon or the one just before that has an invisible maze set behind a floor of solid black.
This shit stings because everything else about the game is cool, the combat feels good, the variety of spells are fun, the little floating helper guys are neat.

If only Logitech hadn't bought out Saitek and gutted them, fuckers. And somehow Logitech's build quality got worse after that, at least in my experience.
