I thought the same until I gave it a real chance because I like the movies a lot
Once you figure out the controls and combat, the real kino experience kicks in and the game become enjoyable. A unique experience.

It actually takes some patience to learn the game and understand what it has to offer. Playing on hard difficulty from the start helps get you to this point.
