Meh. I've played Severance.
The player characters looks good, enemies look a bit shit, environments look quite a bit worse. The only good thing is that the environment is so low impact that the game can afford to go all in on distorted water reflections.

The combat is excellent, and it learns everything you need to learn from Tomb Raider to have proper platforming focused game.
But compare it to OPs webm:
It has layered grass, combined with bloom
The characters on screen isn't blocky
The architecture has full shapes instead of random blocky shapes due the polygon budget
Water deformation
But its a fucking PS2 title, stuck to some variant of 240p or 480i, limiting the graphical fidelity. And shortcuts are taken because it can't be natively viewed in more.
