Yup it's rough. It just NEEDED some proper balancing. Could've been an instant classic desu. The world is really cool.

Am I the only one thoroughly unimpressed with the "megahack" fad that fan-translations are doing?
I don't care to dabble much in glitch-fixes and enhancements/improvements unless I'm in a certain mood. When I go for fan-translations, I go for the purest experience, otherwise I might as well be playing a re-release. At least that semi-retarded SkyRender was cool enough to offer it but leave all that crap optional, that's actually a respectable approach since a good amount of the fun in these old games is bug-exploitation. It's like they're afraid of their work standing on its own merits so they cram in as much superfluous shit as possible to obfuscate that inconvenient fact.
If you're telling me I can blame Rodimus for starting this shit, congrats, that's enough to make me go from disliking him to outright hating him.

I hate whenever this happens, and got chewed out on here when asking if these could be removed and replaced with the original license text when splash screens were also being offered to be removed on here.

>It's another beat em up where you end up taking infinite chip damage unless you're constantly jumping
Great, 40 minutes of jump kicks at times interrupted by bruteforced bosses.
They should just transition into puzzle or adventure games entirely at this point, I can't recall a single beat em up episode that wasn't absolute shit.

companies needed money to survive so they got bought by big corporations.
big corporatons wanted their money back and sucked everything from the companies.
companies made garbage products and sucked to oblivion by the big corporations.
this pattern happened to lots of companies.
origins, new world computing, sierra, etc.

I usually used Pleasantview over Strangetown and Veronaville.
God, where did the time go.

my store fell for the WATA meme

my local mom and pop that im on a first name basis with the people who run it (helped them construct shelves, move shit from the basement, used to be a regular customer before covid, etc). Not only are they taking games for even less than they used to but they are sell consoles foor WAY above ebay value justifying it by saying "BUT MUH FAMILY" or "rich college kids and families will pay 100 bucks for a wii with one remote and nunchuk and not a single fucking game not even shovelware" its depressing because i know the owner means well and has mouths to feed but he is losing a lot of regulars due to this shit. He's lucky to get a trade in to show off to his facebook once a week if he's lucky when no more than pre-covid he was getting good shit all the time. he's in no fear of going under any time soon but business is absolutely stagnating. Shame.I used to want to work there as a repair monkey or even just do counter shit but now it makes me retch just to walk in and see a copy of mario kart wii for higher than even gamestop is charging.

Yeah I did. Any ideas guys? Don't know what I'm doing wrong here. I've got all the mp3 and ogg tracks in quake/id1/music and they all have the correct names, track02, etc. Quakespasm is in my /quake/ folder. I even have tracklist.cfg in /id1. And like I said I can make it play manually with console commands. It really sucks playing Quake with no music.

Fight 255 battles to uncurse Cursed Ring in FF3 (6).
Said that it would uncurse it into Paladin Ring like Cursed Shield -> Paladin Shield.
Did it once and I realized it's a hoax.

I've never seen an original NES/Famicom in person.
