I believed when Ubisoft worked on Rayman 2, they were making a different version until someone walked in and told them that they had to make it on the N64, this meant they had to downscale textures and reduce polygon count drastically. Later on they reinserted them back into the Dreamcast version. I honestly don't get all the praise coming from the N64 version. Aesthetically it's worse and the midi soundtrack is terrible. I think most of the tards here are a little biased.
