Sonic Wings Special is my favorite game in this genre. I love cast of characters, the nice palette, and the ship diversity. I also like that it is challenging but not insanely hard like some other shoot em ups I've tried.

Based on that knowledge what other games do you guys think I'd like? I want to play more shmups. I know basically nothing about this genre.
