My dad got me into doom too.
He left D2, DN3D, Q1, and a shitload of shareware he downloaded on my old windows 95 when he bought a Windows 98.
As a result I have a lot of obscure games and shit that my dad absolutely adored in the 90s.
He was a huge gamer, and got me way into PC gaming by watching him play games like Half-Life and Doom. Not to mention >Chex Quest
I showed my dad Zandronum, and all the cool modifications that have been made to Doom since ZDoom.
His response was "Don't you ever get tired of it?"
