It was good for the time, but compared to the later entries, especially ALttP and the Oracle games, it is hot trash and not one bit of that has anything to do with difficulty aside from the notion that instead of being given logical clues as to where you should go, you are expected to autistically wander around burning and bombing various obstacles in hopes of randomly discovering where to go next -- that is shit game design at its finest and you should feel bad for defending it.
