Every time I see the Zelda timeline it just gets more and more retarded.

This shit is why I always prefer Ys. Just a straight forward time line about some red headed adventurer exploring the world getting into different world saving quests every game. Outside remake shenanigans everything is nice and clean with no bullshit.

If you don't want to retire the character just build a damn world around them not some constant vaguely defined kingdom
