Has anyone else experienced any corruption of their Ape Escape disc? I have a disc which has few to no scuffs and seemingly has no compatibility issues with the system I'm using (ps2 slim). But sometimes during certain parts when a cutscene should play mid-game the game will freeze and the game will cut to a darkened scene of the level with missing textures.

I checked the Ape Escape wiki (don't know how reliable that is) and couple things it says under glitches is
>As Ape Escape is a very delicate game, the textures and soundtrack midis can easily be misplaced or altered
and
>Some versions of Ape Escape will crash when playing certain cutscenes
Anyone else experienced similar?

So what's so good about these games?
I tried playing Kazooie a while back and stopped playing it in Bubbegloop Swamp. Just slow walking around tiny stages with barely anything interesting to do in them. No challenge at all, nothing but slow walking over notes and the occasional jiggies.

Mario 64 and Ape Escape both shit on Banjo from great heights, as they actually have shit to do in them.
