It's not the deepest game ever made but it's light breezy fun that does very little wrong. It's one of the very few stories that does time travel right and the choose-your-own-adventure mechanic was really cool especially for a JRPG. I'd recommend skipping the sequel though, it's very disappointing compared to this game.
