CRTs are the best for retro gaming but it's more convenient to just have everything connected to one monitor. Same reason why I play GB games on my computer instead of buying a portable emulator device. These constant attempts at picking fights over CRTs is neurotic, and reeks of guilt over going the extra mile to play retro vidya. Why use your free time this way, as opposed to playing games or providing quality discussion?

The limit for CRT shaders have basically been reached with Guest and Megatron. The bottleneck at this point is just the quality of flat panel displays, which at that point progress would be better shown through camera captures than screenshots.

Depending on the dithering GTU might not be enough. The Sonic 1 waterfalls need extremely heavy blur to get it right, which GTU doesn't handle well. NTSC shaders won't blur as much but you get all sorts of composite artifacts like dot crawl. Then there's de-dithering shaders like sgenspt-mix which risks destroying the art even if only subtly. It's basically a pick your poison deal. If you don't give a shit about waterfalls you only see for 5 seconds then yeah GTU will do the job.

It's a really nice song I agree. Maybe it could play after you complete the boss rush.

It's pretty gay though. Kirby is cute, too.

I dont own your model Psuedo Saturn specifically, but I have one as well as the Action Replay 4-in-1. From what I can get of these carts, you technically don't save data to them, you just back up save data from the console onto the cart when you aren't playing the game, at least for the AR.
If your console isn't saving, try swapping the internal battery, it's easy and doesn't require taking the console apart.

If you crouch, it looks even more like Nago is dicking Kirby.

What are some of your favorite casual games?
i.e., games that provide a memorable experience, but without requiring a large investment of time.

I wouldn't say they're bad, but they're definitely overrated. They were hyped up by extremely aggressive marketing (the likes of which was completely unprecedented at the time), and eagerly embraced by a public who wanted less "colour" in their music.

>>2790821 beat me to it. Lots of great laid back tracks that compliment the game perfectly

Kirby's Dream Land 3 has some intense blood pressure reduction powers as well. Another game with perfect aesthetics.

I feel like it is, especially when compared to Kirby Super Star. Animal friends are fun to use by adding the extra challenge from limited jumps, side missions were interesting, and dem graphics are pretty fascinating.

Kirby's Adventure is definitely my favorite Sakurai Kirby, but I think Dreamland 3 is my favorite overall.

>>2189439
Mass Attack was one of the best recent ones, though.

I'm surprised at how much DL3 love I'm seeing in this thread. Whenever I've talked about my love of the game on /v/ or /vr/, people would generally say it's simply inferior to Super Star and that it's too slow. Good to see there are more than a few fellow fans.
