They changed that to a simple color matching puzzle in the Remake because it filtered too many people.

Besides the library, the only other thing that even remotely qualifies as a puzzle is the room with the lamps where you have to realize 11, 12, and 13 correspond to Jack, Queen, and King cards. There's also the basement generator, but you can "solve" that by just pressing random buttons.

What the fuck were they talking about here? I can't figure out how anyone would have been confused by the keyboard in RE1 or how they changed it for the remake.
